It's often more of a co-op experience than the very assembly-line like feel you get from Sc. Also, other players don't ask you to go to areas you have no chance of surviving in.|||So basically there are no better features.|||I consider one life a "better feature", but you probably don't, so no, it doesn't.|||The community is better. ... knowing that one small mistake could end your use of that character forever! For me it makes the game much more fun.|||The community, the fact that you can't just go on autopilot when you run bosses because one unlucky spawn can mean the last 40 hours you invested just vaporised; the improved sense of camaraderie among the community, the kudos, the pride, the excitement.

What's not to like?|||It requires (sad to say) a much higher level of thinking. You can't just run in a TP and hope for the best -- you have to be tactical, you have to be careful. Probably like this game was originally intended to be played. There is also a much higher self-reward aspect for completion of a difficulty; you see things in a different perspective when you only have one life.

Give it a shot, I went over to HC a few seasons ago and I'll never play Softcore again, the latter is much too boring for me.
