So how are the HC realms these days

Guys,



Was thinking about urm.... letting the urm, bear out a bit, perhaps, and was curious about the current state of the realms, especially HC play. Is there any public play? any new, nasty hacks, or still the same old same old? Is there a public LLD-duelling scene? Or should I just stick to the good old Lord of the Rings online and not even bother to touch Diablo II?



In other words... how are the hunting grounds these days?

Barry|||i am on ptr, solo playing, private games. no on air games in nm mod, and do not feel like playing with public. TPPK still gives consurns, as usual channel/clan gaming only if you want to get to level 70+ within a week.

and worth it going back to diablo2? pretty much yes, when you got bored of other games, diablo2 is still there, waiting for you to get hooked again.|||Bear says Grrr!

Ok, thanks for the info. For PvM I play LOTR, which is more than nice enough and has more than enough fun and variation to keep me going for a couple of years to come, and appearently, pubbie HC is about as dead as when I left it, so hunting is pretty much out of the question. On the HC PTR side of things, LLD is almost non existent, but there is tons of HLD to be had, both with decked chars and a large share of "gambled" duels. Basicaly, make a new 99, spend 5-10 mins gambling with infinite gold and then go at it. Like a quicker version of an Iron man. Ive had alot of fun doing these.

TPPK , I know that it still works, but Ive not seen it all, nor do anyone I play with report it happening to them.

I think I'll hibernate untill DIII comes out, but I'm not 100% sure at the moment I'll play that apart from the occasional drenge into massacre-land.|||Go kill some peeps baranor you know you want to!|||Been playing D2 and mostly HC the last weeks, what I noticed is that you can find several good normal public games, nightmare got really few and in hell it's really empty, most of the games are offer and need items. This is in Europe realm. Better solo or play with friends in private games which seems safest too against tkpks.|||Is it just me or do all the old skoolers have a homing beacon or Peter Griffin-type brain implant about when a post goes up from one of them?!

Joking aside, nice to see you posting STINGER!|||Been playing public games for the last month or so, there's some normal games up, nm and hell mostly nothing. It's nice and quiet. Allmost too quiet. No PK attempts whatsoever, legit or other in any game I was in. I've got plans for a nutty infinicast charger, but I'm still looking for SOJs and a few charms to finish off the build. Lvl 27 Serpent Charger, you can find the first draft of the build in the pvp section, but with some testing on the PTR I finetuned her a lot. Plan on hitting Baal runs soon so hold on to your ears.
