Just started this topic to get a feel for other people's builds, and to, in general, get excited about a new beginning, I hope to see all the people I played with last year come on. Nothing is more fun that starting out broke and clearing to hell with friends in tow.
Any relevant information on unique builds or deviations from cookie cutters are welcome, post away, i'm interested.
|||I'm waiting for news on what changes will take place if any on the various builds.I'd like to see inferno, Arctic Blast and Impale get "fixed" , then I'd do one these just for the sake of doing it.
Assuming no skill changes I'm pretty on the fence on what to make.
If I get a party to support at the reset, I'd probably make my insight regen charger. He maxes prayer, runs salvation (+90-100 res) and has the mediation aura that ticks 50-60 life every other second. All this party defensive support, he still yeilds ~5K min charge and 6K max before crit on a elite staff like Elder for example.
If I mostly solo , I'll probably make a fire hunter or phnx striker as their both probably the funnest to just walk and play.
Then comes the utility grind again, bo, torching chars, chant and the usual list goes on and on.
My d2 enthusiasm has faded of late with the lack of my old peeps being on. Ive never taken breaks from playing this game unlike many of the "regulars" here.
|||You can count me in to your party if you feel so inclined, soloing has gotten boring of late.|||Well, if I come back it will most likely be behind the wheel of a Static Chanter. Can't really see a reset on the patch without a CTA so I'd be working that as a primary motivation.If for some reason I were to stay beyond that run (dear god I hope that doesn't happen) I would run a Fireball/Orb Sorceress for items/rushing or a Javazon for party play depending on how the community was looking.

-Tai|||Im still playing this old decrepid game and Im currently leveling a Spear WW barbarian (77 atm) as I found a +4 Ariocs needle that I want to try out just for fun when I hit level 81. I dont play nightly anymore but I will burn a few hours now and again..
If the ladder should ever reset, Id probably start off with a Blizzard / Fireball Sorc for Hell Mephy running and then Id make a Necro summoner to Mf Hell Baal early on with..
Is this ever going to happen before D3 arrives is the question ??
|||wasnt certain which build to go, but i think i ll go with orb/cl/cb ( instead of lighting ) and that should be good boss killer + nm cow killer for whites + skillers.|||Well being that Tai took my static chantress >.<I guess I am gonna have to make.....Maybe a fisheymancer or perhaps something more interesting the dentist
If we are making a CTA run i think i will go the curse/ summon rout because everything else looks covered. However if we are gonna do another esu with random things I will use the dentist
then from there for solo I will be making a WW barb orber and then maybe a trap/kicksin
Or I could make that for the cta/esu run if we need it
Of course all of this depends on whether or not the reset beats D3 for timing and if they don't touch the skills :P|||polearm or spear WW barb. havent decided which mastery yet. great poleaxe or ghost spear? hmm
|||After playing beta for a while i am thinking making a trapper for hte first run we do then a ww barb then a dual wield barb then I am thinking a fanatadin. Maybe a poision necro then trying the build sara was talking about the phoenix striker. Then maybe a bear druid for being the tank for one of the esu runs. not a ton of damage but like WoW tank. Lot of health but not an mamzing amount of damage. That way if I am helping lower levels I can play with them instead of just killing everything 
and after I finish all these biulds I think I am going to go merc for people who need me and never play again unless requested by someone lmao. merc for hire (without getting paid lol) and wait till D3 comes out to play agin lol
I figure all this should take about a 3 months because i don't get to play as much anymore :'(
So when it comes out hit me up for the cta's and esu's so we can establish our dominance over evil :-P|||diablo 3 comes out in 2013, ther shall be at least 1.14
