play single player
|||I like what you did there. I've dabbled in the single player, but I find it depressing. I can't play a game like this that sarafices my time without others to play with. I feel anti-social ha ha.|||I have to agree. Playing singleplayer seems kinda pointless to me, but I know a lot of guys love it.|||You build your own empire. There's nobody to help you. You can't rely on anyone else. Everything you do you do by yourself. It's great. And you can always play with others through TCP/IP or Hamachi.|||I've started a hc, classic, singleplayer barb while the realms were completely unplayable the first few days and it's just not the same. I haven't touched him since the realms were patched up. Something about being able to join games with others - even if you solo - being able to randomly socialize, trade, and watch people get killed by monsters (as unfortunate as it is, it is somewhat entertaining when you randomly see a "xxx was slain by monstername" pop up in chat) is a pretty big draw. Then of course the ladder only perks which you have to mod to get in sp.
