OT: A bit of irony for my friends

I am currently in the process of trying to date a coworker of mine, that in itself is nothing special but it never occurred to me until she wrote down her number just how strange the situation might seem to some of you.

Her name is Tai.

Cheers

-Tai (the male one)|||And you're sure you're not trying to date yourself?

https://www.waynesworkshop.com/books...6359408.01.jpg|||?????????????????????????????????|||Tai smex-ing Tai.

Hilarious|||Sorry, I don't get it...??|||Was primarily aimed at some of the people here who have known me for 5+ years, but in short I was lamenting the awkwardness of saying things like "Take it all Tai" when the name conjures up images of myself as a game addicted toaster...|||Well that's what you get for picking the real-name sort of handle.

If you'd gone with ToasTeR you wouldn't be having this sort of trouble at all.

Alternating caps = planning ahead and smart thinking ~_~|||I'm just completely overwhelmed with the huge possibility of silly/smart-*** comments to be made. So much so that I have twice just closed the thread and walked away because I couldn't decide.

I have to ask though. Did you not know her name before she wrote it on the piece of paper? Or did you just not realize?

Also, you do realize you can never introduce her to Shaharris, correct? And if I ever have the opportunity to speak to her my first question will be "Were you ever a toaster in a past life?" And my second question will be "Is your mother a toaster?" Etc.

I expect any conversation between her and Shaharris would be similar to my own actually.

-hps|||I had to read that two times before I understood what the heck you where saying. Haha, real funny. ^^

So doesn't happen to be Taiwanese is she? Because that would be double weird.

- "Hi I'm tai!"

- "oh realy? Chinese would have been my first guess."

awkward.... ._.|||"Thai" would refer to being from Thailand... also, wtf working?
