whats cta? iirc thats a runeword...|||No new info as of yet on a possible CTA. Shaharris and I have discussed it a few times but it doesn't seem too likely before the reset. That said, he has started gaming a bit again so the possibility certainly exists.

The CTA is a hardcore "Call to Arms", an event that the regulars here have run several times. It consists of a team (we've had as few as 6 and as many as 11 people) creating new characters and beating Hell difficulty in one sitting. The average time has been ~12 hours for completion, though we have managed 10 hours before. The first one was in July 2007 and the most recent one was December 6, 2008 (#4, 5 if you count the first reset run) so it used to be a regular thing.

Aside from the awesomeness that is 10+ hours of undiluted gaming, it's a chance for old friends to get together over Ventrilo, drink too much and get away with behavior generally considered reprehensible even behind an anonymous computer screen.

to boost your post count, there are lots of Off Topics where you can express your self as you wish. |||you know what would be cool. a cta competition, with two teams running the game at the same time and seeing who beats it first
