Saved the lives of 2 people. Stuck it to the tppk'ers.

Well I was running public baal tonight with a pretty good group of people. About 6 or 7 runs into it the first TPPK attempt nearly took out our hammerdin who was the main damage for killing the minions. TPPK got him down to about 10% hp. I had BO up on him.

About 2 runs later the second attempted TPPK nearly got our throne running sorc. Luckily I had JUST BO'd him, because the TPPK took him down to about 15% hp.

I was the only barb in the game, and if I hadn't been their then there would have been 2 more victims of a pathetic hack. Im just glad I could directly contribute to fighting against it. Sadly I am doing more to fight against it than blizzard is.

Btw, my barb's name is SavesTheDay. They thought it was fitting |||that is so sweet, i am almost tempted to join this fight vs tppkers, but i know i ll diy instantly ( not enought of anti tppkers gear on me )|||See this is what we should do imo I think we should build a few characters that are just designed for tppk killing. like i would totally be down for that I know blizz does not do much to fix the problem so why don't some of us take matters into our own hands and start killing the pkers?

Let me know if anyone is interested I think it would be a great idea.

LET'S PURGE D2 OF PKERS!!!!!!!!!!|||how do you kill a tppk'er? once they hostile you, they're already in town and you're already being hit. How do you get them legitly?|||Pre-emptive strike.|||Darn right, It's a very long and involved process but when my team used to do it we would be in a run the pker would try to kill somone and we would do what we could to stop it but then his account name would go on the list as a pker and we would always hunt them down and just kill them. It's kinda like pking the pkers but it's a needed evil and kinda fun lol the hunter becomes the hunted lol. Again it's just a thought but I think it's something i am going to start doing again I now need to find the best pk killing character I can think of. Anyone got any Ideas?|||As someone said before the only way to kill a tppk'er is to already know beforehand that they are a tppk.|||I've had a little luck earing tppkers myself, mostly by convincing them to duel me, and then knowing how to duel them. Tppkers are obviously script kiddies, so you need to know that going in. One of their more annoying scripts is the "auto town when clicked". Basically, you can't click their character, or they vanish into town or chicken. This actually works to our advantage however, because most of them think it makes them invincible, and they're wrong. The magic of shift+fury has served me very well here. You chase them down, but instead of clicking them, just shift+fury within range. If they're within your weapon's range, you'll hit them, and hopefully ear them.

I made an absolute monster of a fury wolf recently (since died, dueling one of these script kiddies unfortunately), (doing 16k fury with 50% DS, 12k life, and 35k or so AR!), and 1shotted a particularly annoying script kiddie. This guy had been harassing a low dueling game with his charger, so a friend asked me to see if I could put a stop to it. The guy is a known script kiddie galore, tppker, botted and what have you, and it was obvious he had them all going this round, as the first 2 times I dueled him, he had the "auto chicken when I click his character, before I even land a hit" script kicking in. Switched it to shift+fury, he charged me, and the ear hit the ground he even knew what hit him.

Another fun little kill I had recently was in a dueling game, a guy offered BO, just for fun, to my tele-necro dueler. I was bored, so I accepted. Turns out he was trying to be a lamer, and jumped me as soon as I was out of town. Too bad for him, being a tele-necro, my merc packs quite a punch, so I amped him, bone armor ate the first whirl, sidestepped the second, and the merc ear'd him. Nice try jumper

-Matt|||That's a cool thing thing you did. You play on the USEast realm if i remember correctly?

Yeah if you weren't there in those situations, two decent players who gave their time to rush others would have been killed by pathetic TPPKers all for nothing. 10-15% health left even after BO? That's a very scary thing to imagine....this is why I must focus at 100% and constantly checking for red name appearing on my map if I ever play in public game...

Yes causing eye constraint in the long run, and constantly play in fear in public situations...sigh.|||yeah im on east because it has better communities than west, even though im in cali.
