Hey Sweden

The Sedin Sisters are playing on the wrong team, your women's team might've stood a chance if they were in the right place >_>|||Hey, America!

Yeah, hey!|||Quote:

Clearly I meant this coming Sunday >_>

Also, now everyone knows why Sweden dodged playing us in the quarters in 06. Byebye Russia.|||Oh wow, Slovakia's on fire O_o

USA, you'd better not pull what Sweden did in 02 - we want our gold medal rematch.|||Canada 2 : Rest of world 2

Na na na na

Na na na na

Hey hey hey

Goodbye|||Let's see how well Canada does in FIFA 2010 World Championships where there are more than a few decent opponents. Oh wait...

Nevertheless, the final match saved overall dissapointing tourney, one of the best matches I've ever watched. You'll get 'em next time, USA!|||Quote:

Well for starters, mentioning FIFA to a Canadian is about on par with mentioning hockey to, say, a Spaniard. Sure there's some who might care, but not many.

Secondly I'm not sure what you mean by saving an overall disappointing tourney; that's either entirely wrong or entirely trivial. By trivial I mean, if we didn't win gold - regardless of what the rest of the tourney looked like - it would've been a disappointing tourney. This isn't an event where anyone would've felt good about 2nd under any circumstances. By entirely wrong I mean the rest of the tourney involved lighting up the Russians, and while that wasn't a good game, it was definitely an enjoyable game. So yeah, a disappointing 10 minute stretch against the Slovaks, a good but losing game in the round robin, and a hot Hiller doesn't make for an "otherwise disappointing" tournament ~_~|||Quote:

I think he meant disappointing overall, not just Canada. Who btw weren't playing like they should've 'cept in the final and somewhat in the Russia game, albeit Russia shot themselves down.
