Hi Spade,

Just to expand on Myk's instructions, in order for the bot to track your games you have to:

1) Use a valid game name - has to include the word: baal or chaos.

2) Game cannot last less than a minute or 2 and cannot be over 8-10 minutes or so.

It's setup to track XP runs, so it won't just track your entire D2 carrier (though it probably could, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to set that up).

Edit: Just realized that I could have easily (and probably more effectively) sent this via PM or FB... but for some reason, in my beeraholed state, I started an entire new thread for it! Sorry Zappa, amateur mistake on my part. If anyone is gaming with the wookie, please tell him this thread is here.|||Found thanks lol, i finally figured it out last night. <33333|||Wookies can read?|||in gauss channel we use the .login command (now i dont know what bot you are using) but your games will be tracked as long as you stay logged in (use .logout to log out)|||Quote:

hey now, dont be racist!|||Considering that this information might prove useful for other people as well I will, in my most gracious and benevolent way, allow it to pass. :P|||Quote:

Gauss and xbananax use the same bot (or at least the same foundation for their bots). But Gauss' bot is much more customized than the xbananax bot is, simply because the Gauss folk have put more work into theirs. At the same time, I can't imagine a need to track how many act 1 normal games you have played... So I don't think the xbananax crew are missing too much in that sense.

I estimate that I have played act 1 normal about 10,000 times too many!

I am both humbled and grateful for your generous decision to not ban me! Though I wish I had used a more informative subject line... but I guess the search function will still help those in need of this information if they are looking for it.

Once upon a time, Dyolf sent me a PM asking for the bot info... Ah how the student has become the master! (And I was only a student of xey's at the time).

I have no doubt that Dyolf and the Guass crew would help if we asked, if for no other reason than mutual respect for people who have put time and energy into a thing. But it's not something that is needed as far as I can tell. The Banana folk who still visit seem happy, and as I said, I can't figure out a reason why they would need to track their Act 1 Normal games played, etc.

Who knows what awaits us as far as channel modding goes when D3 arrives. But I'm sure we'll figure it out when it's released.

The fact that the subject line of this thread was changed without even directly asking speaks volumes of how awesome this community is. We all help each other.
