You'll find it appear when you engage her in conversation - I initially thought she would instantly respec me when I clicked but it brings up a prompt asking you if you are totally sure.
One thing I did was remove all my items to my stash mainly due to worries about str and dex requirements on my equipment at that time - because it does take you to a "level 1" state character with all your points to spend that you have accumulated - both stat and skill. It will be a godsend for the stat perfect players and allows you to use that really useful drop you just found which your currently not configured for.|||Quote:
Yeah I have used it from Akara after completing the Den of Evil quest.

So it totally erases all the stat & skill allocations you've made? Ahh, now that's not something I'd read yet. I envisioned there being a "-" thing to click to take away points or skills that you've allocated. I guess the resetting your character back to level 1 makes more sense from a programming point, certainly easier to implement since there's no change to the GUI to do that. Hmmm, I like the sounds of it.|||I must admit I'm starting to really like it - allows a bit more creativity with your character without the fear of the occasional mistake.|||Exactly,
It resets your stats and skills to Zero SPENT, but your level, quests completed and gear stay unchanged. So if you are level 80 you might have 410 stat points unspent (assuming you did the tome quest in each difficulty) and 91 unspent skill points to spend (again assuming you completed all the quests that give the +skill reward).
Keep in mind there is no limit to the number of times you can respec, 3 times for quest reward and as many times as you want with tokens. You have to keep finding more tokens though. Token gets used up.|||i used mine on my first trapper of the season to great effect. nothing like dumping all my points into fire blast until i could get lightning sentry.|||On a trapper you should have a maxed fireblast anyways for the pesky LI. Unless you got an infinity already :P|||yeah, but i wouldnt have dumped so many in at the beginning of the game. also fire blast isnt the only option for extra points so it's not a "gotta do it" type thing. i have also read of people relying on a merc and a strong shadow to kill LI's (though i usually go with fire blast myself). lower resist wands are also available so yeah, not everyone's going to go all in with fire blast, but re specializations allow you to do so early on when it's a powerhouse.|||Quote:

I prefer to do a tap-dance on their heads.
