Help with FURY druid Please!!!

I have a level 73 fury druid using Stormshield (socket with P diamond),

Elite Shaftstop (Um Socket), 15% String (I know this is overkill for DR, but it's not my fault I found these items haha), 75/75/70/30 res in hell, about 2300 life, however I do NOT do enough damage. The blood moor is even a problem at this point. I have Aldur's as my wep right now and nothing better has dropped. I'm considering re-spec to a fireclaw bear at this point if nothing better drops!! I really cannot advance any further in A1 hell safely. Anyone have any advice? Would even be willing to do some trades, but not even sure what is good. I always see people talking about ribcracker, but 2-handed seems so dangerous in hell HC.

Anyways, any advice would be appreciated.|||You found an Elite Shaftstop?

Look for any of the Elite uniques that have a lot of on-weapon IAS%. Baranar's Star, Lightsabre.... or even an upgrade Fleshrender would work, but that's pretty expensive (Lum + Pul) and basically half of an 'Oath'.

Shifters do really benefit from more of the 2-handers than the 1-hander types. A lot more Crushing Blow spawns on the big weapons.

But using a 2-handed weapon(haha.. a weapon with two hands... ) would put a pretty big hole in your resists, requiring a different armor to be worn, most likely.|||Look for high CB, slow, chance to cast stuff,.... instead of pure damage. Since you can run NM countess, Black runeword should be obtainable. This gives you 40% CB, enhanced damage, ias, cold damage (nice duration, slows monsters down so they hit you less). Other cheap sources of CB are crafted blood gloves, guillaumes helm or goblin toe unique greaves.

You can build black runeword in 1h or 2h weapons, so you can test out if you need ss or not (since you don't need it for the %DR). Go with a mace or hammer of some kind for the extra 50% dmg against undead, free damage is allways good.

Also, life leech is nerfed in hell, as is pure physical damage, so you should look out for something with lifetap charges (or dracs gloves), and/or use insight + prayer merc for some extra healing.

These tips should get you that little bit further towards hell countess, high lvl runes and the making of a high damage runeword weapon. The really good ones have all the stats from black, but with higher values, and chance to cast a skill on striking.|||Druids, especially Fury Wolves are best at dealing damage.. No need for a shield really Imo as they have low defense and their blocking sucks. At least I never use a shield on my wolfs. Big weapon = big damage = lots of leech.. Shaft + Soe = enough Dr so no need for SS Imo.. Load up on Life leech, get an Oak sage, and either a Grizzly or wolves for distractions along with a Might merc and see how that works. I always max Lycan, Fury, Oak, Feral Rage, rest in Werewolf on my Fury Wolfs..
